Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.phonepodium.co.za (the “Site”) and the purchase of products from Genovia Pty Ltd trading as Podium Phone Stand (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions for the Website oversee the process of ordering, selling, payment and delivering Goods, as well as the utilization of the Site.
1. Use of Website
In order to sign up as a user, you are required to furnish Genovia Pty Ltd trading as Podium Phone Stand with an email address and specific personal information. Access to the Site for purchasing Goods necessitates the use of a distinctive email address and password combination.
2. Product Information
We make every effort to display accurate and up-to-date information about our products on the Site. However, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of this information.
3. Orders and Payments
- 2.1 Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason.
- 2.2 Payment: Payment is required at the time of placing an order. Both the item(s) and shipping needs to be paid for in full. We accept various payment methods as well as offer credit via Mobicred and RCS. No other payment methods other than what is available at checkout will be accepted. Please note that the credit facility is not with us directly but rather via your Mobicred or RCS account.
- 2.3 Engraving: Prior to adding the product to your cart, you can choose to add any engraving to the Product. We will receive this information as part of your order. Once we have received this information, you cannot change the engraving you requested. What you submitted at checkout is final.
- 2.4 Colour Inset: In addition to engraving, we offer a colour inset feature where the engraved area is filled with a secondary colour. Please note that the colour of the inset may vary slightly due to the natural variations in the materials and the application process. We strive to match the requested colour as closely as possible, but exact matches cannot be guaranteed. The colour selected at checkout is final and cannot be changed once the order has been placed.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- 3.1 Shipping: We will make reasonable efforts to ship orders promptly. However, we are not responsible for delays in shipping. We make use of courier services and we will do reasonable follow ups with them on your behalf.
- 3.2 Delivery: The risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery. Our shipping partner offers risk cover at an extra cost to you the customer. When your order is ready to ship, we will contact you to confirm whether you want the additional risk cover or not. If you do opt for the risk cover, you can make an immediate payment to us to pay the courier for the risk cover. This will need to be arranged and paid for by you prior to the package being collected for delivery. No claims for shipping damages will be entertained after the fact. This payment needs to reflect in our bank account 24 hours after confirming that you want the additional risk cover, otherwise we will ship the product with no risk cover.
5. Returns and Refunds
- 4.1 Returns: We accept returns within seven(7) business days of delivery dispatch. Returned products must be unused and in their original condition. Returns are only accepted on defective products. We do not offer returns or refunds on products other than for the reason of the product being defective. If a product is returned as defective, we will examine the product and if we find that the product is not defective, we will not issue a refund or accept the product as a return.
- 4.2 Exchanges: We do not offer any exchanges on any products. The product you purchased is the product you will receive. If you purchase a Podium without any engraving, you cannot exchange it for a Podium with any engraving. Similarly, if you purchase a Podium with any engraving, you cannot exchange it for a Podium without any engraving.
6. Cancellations
We do not accept any cancellation of any order(s) once payment has been made. Once your order is confirmed after checkout and payment, no cancellation will be accepted.
7. Intellectual Property
- 6.1 Ownership: All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Genovia Pty Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- 6.2 Use of Content: You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works of any content on the Site or any products, services or offerings without our prior express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or the purchase of products.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
10. Terms of Use
By using the Phone Podium, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with its intended purpose.
The Phone Podium is designed to hold your mobile phone when placed on a flat, stable surface. While we take great care to ensure our product is well-designed and thoroughly tested, Genovia Pty Ltd (trading as Podium Phone Stand) cannot be held liable for any damage to your device resulting from misuse, accidental knocks, unstable placement, or user error.
Please ensure that:
- The Phone Podium is placed on a level, secure surface before placing your device.
- You do not force, drop, bump, or knock the Phone Podium or the device while in use.
- You take appropriate care when using the product around pets, children, or in busy environments.
We want you to love using your Phone Podium — but ultimately, you are responsible for the safety of your phone while using it. If your device falls or is damaged while using the Phone Podium, Genovia Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
